Job summary

MongoDB Inc. is seeking a highly experienced Pre-Sales Solution Architect based in Paris for a hybrid role. You will guide customers in designing scalable architectures, articulate the business value of MongoDB solutions, and partner with sales to drive deals across multiple accounts. Travel up to 25% is required.

The ideal candidate has 12+ years in customer-facing roles with 7+ years in pre-sales, strong cloud and programming experience, and a Master’s degree or equivalent.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in a customer-facing role with 7+ years in pre-sales in enterprise software.
• Strong scripting or programming experience (Python/Node.js/SQL; C/C++/Java/C#).
• Experience designing scalable distributed systems in cloud and on-prem environments.
• Ability to articulate technical concepts to business leadership.
• Travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable and performant applications and infrastructure for large projects using MongoDB.
• Advise customers on architecture patterns and optimization strategies while communicating business value.
• Partner with Sales to drive account planning, qualification, and pipeline generation.
• Generate demand through technical initiatives and events.
• Foster customer relationships, build champions, and ensure success.
• Mentor other Solutions Consulting team members and share best practices.
