Job summary

Confidential Careers is seeking an Operations Manager to join our on-site team in France. You will act as the analytical backbone of local warehouse operations, turning data into actionable efficiency gains and bridging day-to-day fulfillment with end-to-end process improvements.

You will monitor KPIs, optimize warehouse processes, oversee inventories, and support operational excellence across Europe. Strong Excel, Power BI, and WMS/ERP experience are essential, along with Lean/Kaizen know-how

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Business Administration or related field.
4+ years in warehouse operational analysis, continuous improvement, or distribution logistics (retail, FMCG, or e-commerce).
Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, complex formulas); hands-on with Power BI; familiarity with WMS/ERP systems (SAP, Microsoft Dynamics Navision).
Knowledge of Lean, 5S, Kaizen and continuous improvement frameworks.

Responsibilities

KPI monitoring, tracking and analysis of warehouse metrics (stock turnover, OTD, picking/packing accuracy, handling cost per unit, cycle times).
Analyze inbound, put-away, storage and outbound flows to identify bottlenecks and implement improvements.
Oversee cycle counts, physical inventories, reconcile WMS/ERP with stock, manage shrinkage/damage control.
Serve as liaison between warehouse floor teams and HQ, ensuring compliance with standards.
Build dashboards (Power BI / Excel) and provide weekly/monthly operational reports for global Operations Management.
