Job summary

CMA CGM Group is seeking a senior engineer to manage the on-board system pole, focusing on machinery, safety, and new technologies. You will audit existing systems, review innovative marine technologies, and lead projects from concept to delivery, including ammonia, hydrogen, and carbon capture initiatives.

Qualifications

• Generalist engineer with knowledge of physical processes and their industrial applications.
• Digital, electrical architecture and Power Management system know-how.
• Familiarity with project follow-up tools and documentation.
• Experience in logic and automation processes across systems.
• Strong communication between various software platforms and teams.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead the system on board pole in charge of on-board machinery and safety areas.
• Audit existing systems and assess new technologies for marine use.
• Launch, manage and deliver projects with clear KPIs and budgets.
• Support ammonia, hydrogen, and carbon capture concepts for ships.
• Assist R&D and delivery teams during project realization.
• Organize project activities, track KPI, and ensure quality deliverables.
• Develop roadmaps for system engineering and report to management.
