Royal Caribbean Group in Saint-Nazaire is seeking a Senior Expert, Electrical (Maritime Technology) to contribute to the development and qualification of complex onboard electrical systems for new builds.

You will coordinate project phases, work with suppliers and shipyards, and support the implementation of new technologies to advance decarbonization and safety goals across the fleet.

Qualifications

• Excellent written & verbal English, SOLAS/IMO regulations knowledge
• Extensive experience in newbuilding marine engineering technologies
• Strong leadership and ability to manage multiple projects
• Ability to coordinate with suppliers, integrators/shipyards and internal teams
• Knowledge of ship electrical systems concepts and energy transformers/equipment

Responsabilités

• Supports NB project teams in electrical systems and disciplines
• Coordinates development phases of electrical concepts (DC networks, BESS, fuel cells)
• Leads development project plan and risk assessment processes
• Supports FAT/HAT/SAT activities and field follow-up with Marine Operation and suppliers
• Prepares technical reports and supports design approval processes
