Job summary

Altea Energy seeks a senior Offshore SURF RSES-D (Responsible for Safety and Environment on Site - Delegate) for a major deepwater Suriname project. The role oversees SURF installation, coordination with offshore contractors, and live operations on installation vessels.

Fluent English required, extensive offshore experience, and leadership in HSE and emergency response. The assignment is rotational, with 35 days on/off, starting early February 2027 and renewable through 2028.

Qualifications

• Engineering Degree or equivalent technical qualification is required.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry, with SURF installation and offshore construction.
• Extensive experience supervising offshore installation operations and managing SIMOPS/COMOPS.

Responsibilities

• Supervise offshore SURF installation activities on vessels and ensure procedures and HSE compliance.
• Coordinate SIMOPS/COMOPS with vessel teams and onshore management.
• Prepare daily progress reports to the SURF Installation Manager.
• Verify installation readiness documentation and manage MOC processes.
• Support QA/QC and contractor management to ensure schedule adherence.
