Airswift is seeking a SURF Technical Leader for a 12-month renewable contract in the Paris region, France. The role requires leading SURF engineering across brownfield offshore oil and gas projects, ensuring safety, quality, and adherence to standards.

The position involves on-site responsibilities with travel to sites and vendors. Ideal candidates hold an engineering degree with 15–20 years in oil & gas, including roughly 10 years in senior SURF roles, and fluent English.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent (Required).
• Minimum 15–20 years in oil and gas with offshore project exposure.
• Approximately 10 years in a senior SURF leadership role.

Responsabilités

• Provide technical leadership across brownfield SURF projects.
• Promote safety and quality culture across activities.
• Ensure engineering activities comply with standards and regulations.
• Identify technical risks early and support mitigation.
• Act as focal point for technical matters and manage clarifications.
• Define and validate technical requirements for FEED and execution phases.
• Lead SURF engineering team to review documentation timely.
• Coordinate technical queries and derogation requests with stakeholders.
• Interface with package leaders and quality teams for fabrication readiness.
• Assist offshore installation phases with technical input and support.
