PALFINGER MARINE is seeking a Service Engineer to ensure reliable operation of lifeboats, davit/winch systems, cranes and life-saving equipment at customer sites. You will diagnose, repair, and optimize complex mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical control systems while adhering to HSE and quality standards.

Travel to offshore locations as needed, prepare accurate service reports, and contribute to continuous improvement in marine equipment service.

Qualifications

• Solid technical background with hands-on hydraulic and mechanical experience.
• Several years of marine/offshore service experience.
• Experience servicing, maintaining, and optimizing mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
• Knowledge of cranes, hydraulic systems, and electrical components in marine contexts.

Responsabilités

• Perform service, commissioning, inspections on lifeboats, davit/winch systems, cranes, and life-saving equipment at customer sites.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, adjust, and overhaul mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and electronic control systems.
• Apply hydraulics, electronics and mechanical knowledge to optimize equipment performance and resolve issues.
• Prepare accurate service reports, inspection records and technical documentation.
• Work in line with HSE policies, standards, procedures and support continuous improvement tasks.
