Jobtailor is seeking an experienced field engineer to assist installation teams on offshore and onshore survey campaigns. You will prepare procedures, support mobilizations, and ensure proper handoffs to procurement, QA/QC and operations.

You will represent the client aboard survey vessels, participate in technical meetings, and help maintain campaign documentation while ensuring compliance with HSE rules.

Qualifications

• Degree: Bac+2 to Bac+5 in geomatics, surveying, hydrography, civil engineering, or equivalent relevant technical qualification.
• Languages: professional technical English preferred for reading specifications and international communication
• Minimum 5 years of experience in oil & gas, ideally on offshore, subsea, pipelay or installation projects.
• Mobility: availability for occasional onshore/offshore travel and international assignments according to project needs.
• Desirable certifications: marine/hydrography endorsements, sea/boat licenses depending on profile and project requirements
• Experience: recent experience in survey assignments for offshore/onshore projects (integrated surveys, mobilized campaigns, installation support) preferred

Responsabilités

• Assist installation engineering in preparing procedures and specifications / purchase requests related to the subcontracted parts of this scope
• Assist the team in preparing and executing offshore operations
• Client representative aboard survey vessels during operations
• Participate in project technical meetings, prepare and maintain campaign documentation in the document management system
• Ensure deliverables are passed to procurement, QA/QC and operations interfaces
• Ensure compliance with HSE rules during interventions (embarkation planning, risk assessments, embarkation/disembarkation procedures) and contribute to field briefs
