Job summary

2H Offshore is seeking an enthusiastic Engineering Intern for a 6-month fixed-term contract based in Paris. The role focuses on disturbed kinematics affecting risers and cables, developing screening tools, and applying data analysis and machine learning techniques.

The candidate will perform design activities, conduct dynamic structural analysis, and communicate findings to the team. Fluency in French and English is required; training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in mechanical, structural, ocean engineering or a related discipline.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with clear communication.
• Experience with offshore engineering tools and programming is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform calculations and dynamic structural analysis for subsea structures.
• Configure system designs and assess fatigue and strength performance.
• Communicate results through meetings, presentations and written reports.
• Collaborate with the team using OrcaFlex/OrcaWave and internal tools.
