Job summary

2H Offshore Group in Paris is seeking a motivated Engineering Intern for a 6-month fixed-term contract to support the development of a mooring integrity detection tool using measured vessel motion data.

The role requires strong analytical skills, exposure to OrcaFlex, Orcawave, and Ariane, and fluent English and French. Training will be provided, and the candidate will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team on offshore renewables and oil & gas projects.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in mechanical, structural, ocean engineering or related discipline.
• Aptitude and enthusiasm for analytical work.
• Fluent in French and English; good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform design activities including calculations, dynamic structural analysis and configurations.
• Communicate technical results through meetings, presentations and written reports.
• Support use of marine engineering tools and software for analysis.
• Contribute to development of a mooring integrity detection tool using motion data.
