Job summary

2H Offshore Group seeks an enthusiastic Engineering Intern for a full-time, 6-month fixed term contract based in Paris. The role focuses on optimizing SLWR configurations for ultra-deepwater applications, combining analytical work with numerical modelling and industry-standard offshore analysis tools.

You will develop numerical models, perform static and dynamic analyses, and contribute to engineering recommendations under supervision, gaining exposure to offshore riser design and fatigue

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Ocean Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related discipline.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills and ability to work with offshore analysis tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop numerical models using OrcaFlex and related tools.
• Review current deepwater SLWR applications and design methodologies.
• Conduct static and dynamic analyses to assess tension, curvature and fatigue.
