Job summary

Macquarie Group in Paris offers a six-month off-cycle internship in M&A advisory, starting January and March 2027. You will work with experienced colleagues on live transactions, gaining hands-on exposure across the full deal lifecycle.

You will build financial modelling, assist origination and execution, and develop client-facing, analytical, and teamwork skills in a highly international environment, with fluency in English and French required.

Qualifications

• Final year or gap year in engineering or business university, or graduated within the last year.
• Solid understanding of financial advisory processes, valuation, accounting, and financial modelling.
• Previous internship experience in private equity, M&A or deal advisory.

Responsibilities

• Financial modelling and valuation on live transactions.
• Contribution to origination and marketing materials.
• Support execution of mandates, due diligence, and data room organisation.
