Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking candidates for a Nursing Assistant Registered Apprenticeship Program designed to train you for a critical role in an acute care setting. The program combines on-the-job training with classroom instruction and leads to CNA advancement. The position features 36/E/N shifts from 7:00 p.m.

to 7:30 a.m. with rotating weekends and holidays. You will assist patients with daily living activities, prepare rooms, help with meals, document care, and respond to call bells

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalency required.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 2 weeks of hire.
• Must read, write, and follow written and oral directions in English at the 12th grade level.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to work in a busy acute care unit.
• Must be 18 years old.

Responsabilités

• Prepare patients' rooms, greet and escort to rooms, and inventory possessions.
• Assist with meals: prepare trays, serve, and record intake.
• Assist with activities of daily living to maintain patient dignity.
• Document care activities accurately in the Electronic Medical Record.
• Respond to call bells promptly and alert nursing staff to abnormal findings.
• Stock patient care areas with supplies and maintain a safe environment.
