Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a Nursing Assistant to support patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. You will help with daily living activities, monitor vital signs, assist with nutrition, and ensure patient safety.

You will document observations, report unusual findings, collect specimens for analysis, and help with orientation of new colleagues. The role requires basic math, reading and writing, and strong interpersonal skills.

Formación

• Education: Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Licensure: Basic Life Support/BLS required; 30 days to obtain BLS.
• Experience: None.

Responsabilidades

• Care for patients as delegated by the registered nurse and complete daily living activities.
• Take and record vital signs, height/weight, and oxygen saturation.
• Report unusual observations to the nurse or charge nurse.
• Collect specimens and document intake/output.
• Assist with nutrition and meal setup or serving.
• Support safety and infection control practices.
• Assist with orientation of new nursing assistant colleagues.
• Contribute to department quality improvement activities.
