Morristown-Hamblen Healthcare System is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant for the General Medical Unit to provide direct patient care under RN supervision. Responsibilities include basic ADLs, vital signs, and ensuring patient comfort.

Candidates should have Tennessee CNA licensure (or in process for out-of-state) and CPR certification; hospital experience preferred. Strong communication and teamwork are essential. This is a full-time night-shift role with 72 hours per pay period.

Qualifications

• CNA license in Tennessee required at hire.
• CPR certification required.
• Hospital experience preferred.
• Strong reading, writing and interpersonal skills.

Responsabilités

• Take and record vital signs, intake/output, and measurements.
• Assist with activities of daily living and mobility for patients.
• Provide direct patient care under RN supervision; may serve as sitter when needed.
• Maintain infection control policies and a safe patient environment.
• Document patient information and report changes to the RN promptly.
• Respond to patient calls and support the care team as required.
