Job summary

Volvo Group DTO is seeking a technical AI product lead in Lyon to drive production-grade ML/AI solutions from business needs to deployment. You will design, build, deploy, and operate AI products with strong engineering practices, including CI/CD, monitoring, and governance.

You will lead a team of Data Scientists and ML Engineers, partnering with business stakeholders to ensure scalable, compliant and long-term performance of ML pipelines in a global automotive context.

Qualifications

• Deep understanding of statistics and ML in a quantitative field.
• Experience managing full AI/ML software lifecycle including CI/CD and monitoring.
• Ability to industrialize applications based on DL techniques and core models.
• Experience programming with Git and related tooling.
• Hands-on cloud engineering experience for scalable AI products.
• Experience with microservices and API development is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering of production-grade ML solutions from business needs to deployment.
• Design, build, deploy, and operate ML/AI products with CI/CD and monitoring.
• Ensure long-term performance by monitoring drift and improving pipelines.
• Apply NLP/LLM approaches for classification use cases within security/governance constraints.
• Provide tech leadership to cross-functional teams.
