AZmed is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer to bridge research and production in our AI team. You will work with researchers to build, scale, and deploy cutting-edge ML models for medical image analysis.

You will own data quality and model evolution, contribute to pipeline automation, and collaborate with Ops, MLOps, and software engineers to ensure reliable, production-ready systems. Paris office with flexible remote days.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in statistics, data science, AI or related field.
• 5+ years of experience as a data engineer or data scientist working on ML applications.
• Experience in Computer Vision (Classification, Detection, Segmentation).
• Experience in NLP (LLM, pre-processing, word embeddings).
• Experience with our Data Engineering stack: MongoDB, SQL, Spark, Airflow, dvc.
• Experience with our ML stack: PyTorch, sklearn, skimage.

Responsabilités

• Maintain the overall quality and evolution of datasets and ML models.
• Own the AI team’s codebase and enforce high engineering standards.
• Optimize and operate the Foundation Model pipeline (data prep, training, validation).
• Drive AI-related feature development and streamline pipelines for faster production deployment.
• Collaborate with Ops, MLOps, and Software Engineering for reliable infrastructure.
