Mane Energy in Paris is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to take ownership of mechanical packages on site for a major data centre project. You will coordinate with the Project Manager, client, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure delivery on time, to budget and to the highest quality standards.

The role requires a strong background in mechanical/MEP contracting, BIM/CAD coordination, and familiarity with Primavera P6.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience with a recognised Mechanical/MEP contractor.
• Strong site-based mechanical construction experience.
• Experience managing mechanical packages and subcontractors.
• Good understanding of BIM/CAD and construction coordination.
• Familiarity with Primavera P6 or similar planning software.

Responsabilités

• Managing mechanical packages on site from design through installation, commissioning and handover.
• Coordinating subcontractors, suppliers and site teams.
• Reviewing drawings, specifications and IFC information.
• Managing RFIs, technical queries and design coordination.
• Working with BIM teams to develop and release installation information.
• Monitoring programme, progress, labour, materials and procurement.
• Supporting QA/QC, commissioning, validation and handover.
• Managing snagging, documentation and project close-out.
• Producing progress and cost reports and attending project meetings.
• Supporting and mentoring junior engineers.

A leading European engineering and construction organisation is looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join a major project in Paris.

This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong mechanical/MEP contracting background who wants to work on a large-scale, technically complex project within the data centre and mission-critical sector.

You'll take ownership of mechanical packages on site, working closely with the Project Manager, client, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers to make sure everything is delivered safely, on programme and to the required quality standards.

The role will involve:

• Managing mechanical systems and packages from design through installation, commissioning and handover.
• Coordinating subcontractors, suppliers and site teams.
