Job summary

Corning Inc. is seeking a Measurement & Controls Engineer for a permanent role at the Fontainebleau-Avon site. You will design and implement measurement and control solutions for our equipment and processes, collaborating with researchers and process engineers.

The role covers defining specifications, developing metrology benches, integrating systems, and upgrading equipment as R&D priorities evolve. A strong engineering background in automation and electrical engineering is essential.

Qualifications

Engineering degree in automation and electrical engineering required or equivalent.
Experience with instrumentation, test benches and measurement systems.
Strong background in industrial automation, motion control and servo systems.
Willingness to work across Avon and Fontainebleau sites and collaborate with researchers.

Responsibilities

Define specifications for measurement and control systems with researchers and engineers.
Design, develop and integrate metrology equipment and test benches with focus on reliability and performance.
Upgrade measurement systems as project priorities evolve.
Provide technical expertise on process control and metrology to Process teams.
