Job summary

Corning Incorporated in Avon, France, is seeking a Development Scientist to design and implement measurement and control solutions for equipment and processes, with involvement across Avon and Bagneaux-sur-Loing sites and other European locations.

The role requires an engineering degree in automation/electrical engineering, first industrial experience in instrumentation or machine control, fluent English, and a collaborative, creative mindset to support Process teams.

Qualifications

Engineering degree in automation/electrical engineering with first industrial experience.
Experience with instrumentation of test benches and measurement of physical quantities.
Fluent in English and strong technical capabilities.

Responsibilities

Define specifications for Measurement & Control systems with researchers and process engineers.
Design, develop, and integrate metrology equipment and test benches for flexibility and performance.
Adapt and upgrade measurement equipment as priorities evolve in R&D projects.
Provide technical expertise on process control and metrology to Process teams.
