Job summary

ODDO BHF is seeking an experienced project manager to lead and grow an international IT team of seven, focusing on the e-banking platform used by PWM and IFA clients across France and Germany. This role blends operational leadership with project governance, involving travel to Germany and Tunisia and driving digital transformation within a collaborative, multi-country environment.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of experience in IT project management with a focus on software development and maintenance.
• Degree in computer science, mathematics, business administration with IT focus, or equivalent IT training.
• Strong ability to analyze customer and technical processes and define requirements.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills; confident and engaging.
• Fluent in English and French; German is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan, manage and control software development projects and standard software introductions in line with guidelines.
• Provide technical leadership, motivate project staff, and participate in staffing decisions.
• Prepare and monitor budgets and investments.
• Ensure ongoing operation of application systems under responsibilities.
• Collaborate in selecting IT providers and external partners.
• Support infrastructure measures and cross-functional tasks within the group service network.
• Contribute to design of complex IT architectures and digital transformation initiatives.

Job description

As a 5 to 8 years expert of project management ideally with managerial skills, you will lead and grow an international IT team (7 people) in charge of the e-banking platform made up of two squads : client interaction/UX and Client analysis for mainly Private Wealth Management & Independent Financial Adviser. (France and Germany)

This position combining operational and project management will allow you to develop your skills in an entrepreneurial and international context. Due to the regular activity of the department, several trips to Germany and Tunisia are to be expected during the year (to maintain high level of relationship with your teams and stakeholders)

Your main missions :

• Responsible of planning, management and control of projects for software development / maintenance and in the introduction of standard software in compliance with the guidelines applicable for this purpose
• Technical leadership, promotion and motivation of the project staff
• Participating in the determination and selection of personnel requirements
• Preparing/monitoring the material cost and investment budget
• Ensuring the ongoing operation of the application systems for which he/she is responsible
• Participating in the selection of IT providers, consulting companies and software houses
• Support and implementation of infrastructure measures and cross-sectional tasks within the departmental, divisional or group (ODDO BHF Group) service network
• Collaboration in the design of complex IT architectures
• Collaborating on strategic IT projects, fully complying with applicable governance processes (internal & external), working independently, autonomously, professionally and sustainably in the area of responsibility, taking into account cost-benefit aspects
• Develop and innovate around our digital process (digital transformation)

Skills required

• 5-8 years of experience in project management, agile methods and standards as well as the test management
• Successfully completed degree in computer science, mathematics, business administration with a focus on IT or completed (commercial) training with experience in the IT field
• Profound experience in the analysis of customer processes/technical processes and formulation of requirements
• Strong analytical as well as conceptual thinking skills
• Ability to familiarize yourself quickly with new topics and to contribute to an innovative team
• Confident, engaging and convincing appearance
• Excellent team and communication skills as well as an organized and goal-oriented way of working
• Experienced in applying agile methods and approaches
• Very good written and spoken English and French skills
• Would be an asset :
• Experienced with digitization processes (digital transformation)
• Knowledge of Confluence/JIRA is an advantage as well as SQL skills
• German written and spoken is an advantage

Your remuneration is adapted to your profile and skills. This remuneration is composed by a fix salary, bonus subject to individual arbitration at the end of each year, and profit-sharing.
