Maersk in France is seeking a Solution Design Engineer to help establish Contract Logistics capabilities across Europe. You will drive growth by applying your operational experience and analytical approach to design and solution warehousing proposals for local sales organizations.

You will build market and product knowledge, share best practices, and act as a subject matter expert in pre- and post-sales engagement to ensure viable, scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in International Supply Chains with focus on value drivers.
• Data-driven approach to translate client needs into actionable solutions.
• Strong background in Contract Logistics and warehousing technologies.
• Numerate, financially astute with solid logistics process knowledge.
• Solid knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Collaborates effectively in matrix, multicultural environments.
• Agile and self-starting in a fast-paced setting.
• Onsite 5 days per week at Paris, Lille, Marseille or Denain.

Responsabilités

• Design warehousing solutions including layouts, resource calculations, IT requirements, operational processes and costs.
• Develop and prepare new logistics concepts and value propositions.
• Own value propositions with robust pre- and post-sales engagement from commercial and operations teams.
• Share market and product knowledge across Europe and adopt best practices within the design community.
