Maersk is hiring a Solution Design Engineer to establish Contract Logistics capabilities in Europe. You will drive growth by applying your operational experience and analytical strengths to design and solution warehousing and cold store proposals for local sales teams to win large-scale opportunities.

The role requires five days onsite at one of Paris, Lille, Marseille, or Denain locations, with extensive collaboration across disciplines to deliver technically sound, commercially viable

Qualifications

• Significant experience in International Supply Chains and value drivers of supply chain.
• Data-driven approach to translate analytics into solutions and action plans.
• Strong Contract Logistics background with knowledge of warehousing tech and compliance.
• Numerate, financially astute with solid logistics process knowledge.
• Solid WMS understanding; able to share best practices across Europe.

Responsabilités

• Design warehousing solutions including layouts, resource calculations, IT requirements, processes and costs.
• Develop new logistics concepts and value propositions with best technical and organizational solutions.
• Own value propositions with cross-functional, cross-country engagement to ensure viability of solutions.
• Build market and product knowledge and share learnings with sales and wider teams.
