Pernod Ricard S.A. is seeking a Legal Intern for Africa & Middle East, starting January 2027. You will join the AME legal team to support lawyers in daily tasks, including contract negotiations, governance matters, and compliance programs.

The role requires a Master II level or trainee lawyer with international business law exposure and strong English skills. The internship offers learning opportunities across markets, occasional court trips for apostille/legalization, and a collaborative

Qualifications

Solid legal training in business law / international business law.
At least 6 months’ experience in legal departments of major companies or international firms.
Excellent written and spoken English.
Good writing skills and ability to work in a team.

Responsabilités

Assist in negotiation, drafting and monitoring of contracts with Group and third parties.
Follow-up and record contracts and amendments in Group databases.
Assist with contract management: letters of formal notice, termination, renewal amendments.
Assist governance and corporate law topics for French and foreign subsidiaries.
Help implement internal Group policies, particularly compliance (anti-corruption, competition).
Monitor pre-litigation and litigation in the region; research business law.
