Pernod Ricard España SA in Paris is seeking its next Business Law Competition, Distribution & Litigation Intern in January 2027 to join the Global Markets & GTR Legal team and support the lawyers in daily missions.

The role offers a central Paris workplace with the possibility to work from home two days a week, exposure to competition and distribution law across multiple jurisdictions, and a strong professional network.

Qualifications

• Master II student or trainee lawyer with solid legal training in Competition & Distribution law.
• At least 6 months' experience in corporate legal departments or international law firms.
• Excellent written and spoken English; fluency in another language is a plus.
• Good writing skills, teamwork, flexibility, proactivity, autonomy and rigor.

Responsabilités

• Assist in legal research related to Economic Law (Competition & Distribution) across jurisdictions.
• Assist in developing and implementing the Internal Compliance program related to Competition law.
• Assist in monitoring litigation matters within the Group.
• Assist in negotiation, drafting and monitoring contracts within the Group and with third parties.
• Follow-up and record contracts and amendments in Group databases.
• Assist with contract management: drafting letters of formal notice or termination, renewals.

Want to join a fast-moving company and work among convivial teams? Pernod Ricard is looking for its next Business Law Competition, Distribution & Litigation Intern in January 2027. You will be part of the Global Markets & GTR Legal team, within the Legal Department of Pernod Ricard S.A., to support the lawyers in their daily missions.

Your key missions

• Assist in legal research related to Economic Law (Competition & Distribution) related to Pernod Ricard’s business in several jurisdictions
• Assist in the development and implementation of the Group’s Internal Compliance program related to Competition law & antitrust (e.g. policies, risk assessment tools, mitigation measures, etc)
• Assist in monitoring litigation matters in the Group.
• Assist in the negotiation, drafting and monitoring of contracts set up within the Group and with third parties (e.g. regional distribution & procurement contracts, ) in the various Management Entities of the Group
• Follow-up and record contracts and their amendments in the Group databases
• Assist with contract management: drafting letters of formal notice or termination, and renewal amendments

Requirements

• Master II student or trainee lawyer
• Solid legal training in Competition & Distribution law
• At least 6 months' experience in the legal departments of major companies and/or in international business law firms
• Excellent level of written and spoken English (fluency in another language would be a plus)
• Good writing skills
• Ability to work as part of a team, open-mindedness
• Flexibility, proactivity, autonomy and rigor
