amo in Paris is seeking a Lead SRE to join the founding team, gradually taking ownership of central infrastructure and guiding reliability as we scale globally.

You will design distributed databases (ScyllaDB), automate dashboards, and build CI/CD pipelines, partnering with backend engineers and cloud providers (AWS/GCP). This is a hands-on leadership role balancing speed and stability in a Paris office.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of system architecture and software development.
• Proficiency in at least one low-level language, ideally Rust or Go.
• Strong knowledge with monitoring and alerting tools.
• Experience with Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms and infrastructure, including strong proficiency in AWS and/or GCP.
• Proven success in scaling high-traffic production environments with a focus on reliability and performance.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly and influence cross-functional teams.
• Pragmatic, hands-on, and comfortable moving between strategy and execution.

Responsabilités

• Define and lead the long-term infrastructure vision and roadmap for amo’s systems.
• Design and maintain distributed databases at large scale (ScyllaDB) and high-throughput monitoring infrastructure.
• Automate dashboards, deployments, and cluster management; optimize CPU usage and costs.
• Partner with backend engineers and with cloud providers (GCP, AWS) to push products to the limit.
• Build CI/CD pipelines and bring production-ready concepts/tools to the company growth.
