Job summary

Jobgether collaborates with a partner company to hire a Senior PHP/Symfony Engineer — Integrations & Automation based in France. Join a remote team building a critical automation platform that connects ERP, eCommerce, CRM, and sales tools.

In this senior role you will own data models, design robust integrations via REST/GraphQL/SOAP, manage Symfony Messenger queues, and drive browser automation with Playwright or Puppeteer.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of professional software development experience with PHP and Symfony.
• Degree in Computer Science or related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven experience designing and maintaining production integrations and automation workflows with third-party systems.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve the architecture of the internal business automation platform, ensuring it is scalable, maintainable, observable and reliable.
• Design and maintain data models for customers, orders, leads, accounts and products.
• Build, operate and improve daily synchronization workflows linking ERP, eCommerce and sales tools including write-backs.
• Develop and maintain integrations with eCommerce platforms via GraphQL APIs, bulk operations and webhooks; REST and SOAP APIs for other systems.
• Improve synchronization reliability by handling rate limits, missing records, failures and data inconsistencies.
• Build and maintain browser automation workflows using headless browsers in Node.js (Playwright/Puppeteer).
• Use AI models to enrich and categorize product data balancing cost and accuracy.
• Manage Symfony Messenger queues, jobs and asynchronous processing; ensure failed messages are diagnosed.
• Maintain production health with monitoring, alerts and runbooks; minimize unnecessary notifications.
• Develop React-based interfaces for internal users and automate sales engagement and SEO workflows.
• Strengthen automated testing with PHPUnit and Playwright; integrate CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with the existing developer to simplify workflows and improve performance.
