Job summary

Eutelsat is seeking an experienced End-to-End System Performance & Sizing Engineer to lead the sizing and performance for next‑generation satellite networks. You’ll oversee user terminals, space and ground segments, and service platforms, ensuring end‑to‑end objectives for capacity, latency, availability and scalability are met across all domains.

You will define budgets, drive cross‑segment trade‑offs, and develop performance models to demonstrate compliance with mission requirements,

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of experience in systems engineering, architecture, performance engineering or end-to-end telecom systems.
• Master's degree or PhD in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or related discipline.
• Experience in satellite communications, NTN, or LEO/MEO/GEO satellite systems.
• Experience decomposing service‑level objectives into system requirements with full traceability.

Responsibilities

• Lead a multi-disciplinary work stream of system, segment and modelling engineers.
• Define performance budgets and targets; maintain end-to-end system definition consistency.
• Coordinate modelling, simulation activities; define requirements for tool enhancements.
• Lead end-to-end performance assessments: capacity, latency, availability, scalability.
• Interface with stakeholders to present assessments and justify design choices.
