Job summary

Eutelsat is seeking a Systems Engineer to design, define, coordinate and maintain interfaces for future satellite communication systems around IRIS². You will manage end-to-end interfaces across user, space, ground, network, service and operations domains, ensuring interoperability and traceability of requirements.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years in end-to-end system architecture or systems engineering.
• Master’s degree in engineering or related field.
• Experience with multi-supplier interfaces and external collaboration.
• Fluent English, written to specification standard.
• Space/telecom/defence programme experience and SB/CBR life cycle familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain the interface register and interface matrix for the end-to-end system.
• Identify applicable standards and reference architectures for each interface.
• Translate requirements into clear, traceable, verifiable interface requirements.
• Define information exchanges across control, user, and management-plane interfaces.
• Chair interface working groups and drive technical agreement among owners.
