Job summary

Eutelsat is seeking an experienced End-to-End System Performance & Sizing Engineer to lead the definition, optimisation and assessment of system sizing and performance for next-generation satellite networks.

This role spans user terminals, space segment, ground segment, network infrastructure and service platforms. You will define budgets, drive cross-segment trade-offs and coordinate performance models to demonstrate compliance with mission and service requirements.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years in systems engineering, architecture, performance engineering or end-to-end telecom systems.
• Experience defining end-to-end performance, capacity planning and sizing.
• Experience with satellite payloads, user terminals, gateways or ground segments.
• Experience with requirements traceability and multidisciplinary investigations.

Responsibilities

• Lead a multi-disciplinary work stream of system, segment and modelling engineers.
• Define system sizing assumptions and performance budgets.
• Maintain end-to-end system engineering database for consistency.
• Coordinate modelling activities and define requirements for performance tools.
• Lead end-to-end performance assessments for capacity, latency, availability and scalability.
• Document performance analyses with traceable conclusions and risk flags.
• Drive cross-domain trade studies across user, space, ground and network segments.
• Interface with stakeholders to present assessments and justify design choices.
