Jobtailor in Paris is seeking a senior Data Analytics Lead to manage the Commercials Pod, driving professional development through mentoring and training. You will shape the roadmap and ensure the team delivers high-quality data products and dashboards.

Work closely with sales to translate business requirements into analytics solutions, oversee data collection/processing, and develop ML or Generative AI-based solutions to boost sales growth and customer experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience as a Data Analyst or Data Scientist with at least 2 years in people management.
• Strong experience in commercial data analysis, predictive modeling, and reporting.
• Academic background in statistics/mathematics/economics, or a data-focused discipline.
• Excellent command of data analysis tools (SQL, Python/R).
• Experience developing ML algorithms or using Generative AI.

• Manage the members of the Commercials Pod (three people to date).
• Act as a driver of professional development for team members through training and mentoring.
• Define the roadmap and ensure the quality of the team's deliverables.
• Work closely with the sales teams to understand their needs and translate business requirements into data analytics solutions.
• Oversee the collection, processing, and analysis of commercial data volumes to create clear, concise dashboards.
• Propose and develop data products to support sales growth or customer experience, staying at the forefront of data technologies (e.g., Machine Learning, Generative AI).

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Data Analyst or Data Scientist, with at least 2 years of team management experience in a similar context.
• Strong experience in commercial data analysis, predictive modeling, and reporting.
• Academic background in statistics/mathematics/economics, a specialized degree in data, or an engineering degree with a strong interest in data.
• Excellent command of data analysis tools (SQL, Python/R).
• Experience developing and managing Machine Learning algorithms or using Generative AI.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools (Metabase or Lightdash preferred).
• Knowledge of databases and cloud environments.
• Excellent spoken and written English to interact with our international colleagues.
