Jobtailor in Nantes, France, is seeking a data governance professional to drive and maintain the data catalog, inventory strategic data, and define metadata across business, functional and technical domains.

You will map data flows, ensure data quality, implement quality rules, and support regulatory compliance while promoting a data-driven culture through workshops and governance reports.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years' experience in a Data Management or Data Governance role.
• Proficiency with a Data Catalog tool (DataGalaxy preferred, Collibra, Microsoft Purview, Alation, etc).
• Strong knowledge of data governance, data quality, and data documentation principles.
• Proficient in SQL.
• Familiarity with Data Lake, Data Warehouse, or Lakehouse architectures.
• Comfortable with JIRA, Confluence, and Agile methodologies (Scrum).
• Knowledge of Azure and Python/PySpark is a strong plus.
