Ciril GROUP is seeking an experienced data & BI engineer to design and maintain decision-support apps and optimized data warehouses. You will implement data integration, ensure GDPR compliance, and develop dashboards to meet business needs.

You will collaborate with Product Owners and technical teams, work with the data pipeline R&D, and maintain a robust versioned deployment of the decision-support platform. Minimum 5 years of relevant experience is expected.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree (or equivalent) in computer science, mathematics, or statistics, ideally with a specialization in information systems or statistics and data processing.
• More than 5 years of professional experience.
• Proven project management experience.
• Proficiency in Python and R.
• Proficiency in dbt, DuckDB, PostgreSQL, NoSQL, and SQL.
• Proficiency with Business Intelligence tools such as Qlik Sense, Microsoft Power BI, or SAP BusinessObjects.
• Strong understanding of data architecture concepts (data warehouse, data lake, lakehouse) and the ability to implement them in decision-support environments.

• Collaborate daily with business Product Owners and technical teams.
• Work with the R&D team responsible for the data integration pipeline and the Decision Support technical team responsible for the decision-support product.

Requirements

• Master’s degree (or equivalent) in computer science, mathematics, or statistics, ideally with a specialization in information systems or statistics and data processing
• More than 5 years of professional experience

• Proficiency in Python and R

• Knowledge of GitLab and Jira is a plus
• Knowledge of Java is a plus
• Use AI tools in compliance with Ciril GROUP’s regulatory framework
• Occasional travel to Villeurbanne
