Job summary

Stim Studio SARL in Angoulême, Nouvelle-Aquitaine, France, is seeking a Lead/Senior Set & Props Modeler to head the modeling team for Rabbids. You will collaborate with the Art Director, Director, and technical teams to supervise environments, sets, and props from concept to final assets.

You will ensure artistic excellence, uphold pipeline constraints, and mentor artists while coordinating with Lookdev, Rigging, and Layout to smooth handovers. English or French fluency is required.

Qualifications

• Lead or Senior Set & Props Modeler with proven track record in animation.
• Expertise in hard-surface and organic modeling using Maya and ZBrush.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organization skills.
• Excellent eye for detail, proportions, scale, and visual aesthetics.
• Understanding of production pipelines, topology optimization, and asset workflows.
• Ability to meet deadlines in coordination with production management.
• Fluency in English or French.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and support the Set & Props modeling team on a daily basis.
• Model and sculpt complex 3D sets, environments, and props (hard-surface and organic) based on concept art and production requirements.
• Review and validate assets created by the team, providing constructive artistic and technical feedback.
• Ensure clean topology, optimized UV layouts, and strict adherence to pipeline constraints across all set and props assets.
• Collaborate closely with supervisors and downstream departments to streamline asset handovers.
• Anticipate production bottlenecks and propose effective technical or artistic solutions in coordination with the lead/technical team.
