Job summary

Stim Studio SARL in Angoulême is seeking a skilled Look Development Artist to define and develop the visual appearance of characters for Rabbids.

You will collaborate with the Art Director and technical teams to create shaders, textures, grooming setups, and lighting that meet artistic and production guidelines. Proficiency in Maya, Arnold, Substance Painter, Mari, and node-based tools (Katana, Gaffer, Houdini, Solaris) is essential, plus strong communication and English or French fluency.

Qualifications

• Experience in character look development within animation or VFX.
• Strong shading, color management, lighting for characters.
• Knowledge of node-based workflows and pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Lead look development for characters to achieve artistic vision.
• Create shaders and textures for characters per guidelines.
• Collaborate with Art Director, Designers, Modelers, and downstream teams for visual consistency.
• Document lookdev pipelines and template setups.
