Job summary

Viridien in Massy, France, is seeking an entry-level Graduate Imaging Geophysicist to develop skills in seismic data processing, modelling, and 3D imaging for subsurface applications in the energy sector.

You will work in a hybrid setup with experienced geophysicists, engineers, and clients, contributing to complex projects, learning state-of-the-art signal processing techniques, and communicating results clearly.

Qualifications

• Fresh graduates with Master’s or PhD in Physics, Geophysics or Mathematics (0–2 years).
• Analytical approach to problem solving and learning aptitude for new concepts.
• Technical knowledge in applied mathematics or physics; ability to communicate complex ideas.

Responsibilities

• Process and analyze seismic data to produce accurate 3D subsurface images.
• Test and optimize workflows to improve imaging accuracy, computational performance, and data quality.
