Viridien is an advanced technology, digital and Earth data company focused on solving geoscience challenges for a sustainable future. This six-month internship targets physicists, mathematicians and geophysicists in their final year of study.

You will join a processing and imaging team and collaborate with the R&D department to deliver the latest tech to clients, working on land, marine and 4D projects, with emphasis on elastic FWI and reservoir properties.

Qualifications

• Last year of Master’s degree in Geophysics, Mathematics, Physics, Astrophysics/Astronomy, Natural Sciences with a Physics specialization.

Responsabilités

• Test elastic-FWI over several real-world datasets and estimate Vp, Vs and density.
• Verify results with reservoir specialists and ensure physical meaning.
• Optimize tool usage to improve cost effectiveness in production.
• Organize large datasets and manage processing workflows across land, marine and 4D topics.
• Present status reports to clients on a weekly basis.
