Job summary

Mandarin Oriental Paris is seeking an Assistant General Housekeeper Junior to support the Housekeeping Management team, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation and hygiene throughout the hotel. Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience in an equivalent position in a similar establishment.
• Organization, rigor, discretion and initiative.
• Fluency in English essential.
• Good management and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Housekeeping Department in the absence of the Executive Housekeeper.
• Supervise, motivate, train, and evaluate Housekeeping, Laundry, and Florist teams.
• Ensure compliance with Mandarin Oriental standards and related quality programs (FHLSS, LQA, MOQA, LQE).
• Conduct daily inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces.
• Monitor staffing, budgets, supplies, inventory, and departmental productivity.
• Oversee deep-cleaning schedules, preventive maintenance, and quality audits.
• Ensure guest satisfaction and personalized VIP service.
• Coordinate daily operations with Front Office, Engineering and other departments.
• Manage administrative duties, training programs, and operational reports.
• Drive continuous improvement and maintain exceptional luxury service standards.
