Van Berge Henegouwen (VBH) is looking for an IT Specialist in Antibes, France. This role involves configuring and optimizing IT systems for high-end AV/IT integration in luxurious yachts.

The right candidate will work closely with teams globally, ensuring performance and security while playing a key role in technical project delivery. A gross monthly salary between €3,356 and €5,760 is offered, alongside travel allowance and 25 vacation days.

We are looking for a proactive and technically skilled IT Specialist for our location in France (Antibes) to strengthen our IT project teams and play a central role in high‑end AV/IT integration projects.

At VBH, we redefine luxury with state‑of‑the‑art technology. We create smart, seamless onboard experiences for the most prestigious yachts worldwide. As an IT Specialist, you’ll help us bring these innovations to life – securely, efficiently, and flawlessly.

What you’ll do:

As an IT Specialist, you’re the technical backbone of our project delivery. You configure, optimize, and implement sophisticated IT and network solutions, ensuring performance, security, and customer satisfaction at every step.

You’ll be:

• Building, configuring, securing, and testing systems and networks based on functional designs – on‑site or remotely;
• Ensuring optimal performance and security of delivered systems through ongoing maintenance;
• Creating and optimizing technical configurations that align with client wishes and existing technologies;
• Acting as a key technical contact for project leads, sales, and external partners;
• Translating functional designs into configuration plans and validating them with stakeholders;
• Supporting Systems Engineers in technical design development;
• Delivering and maintaining project documentation, sharing insights, and driving continuous improvement;
• Training end‑users and project team members on installed systems where needed.

Where will you work?

You’ll be based at our office in Antibes (South of France), but your work will take you much further. You'll collaborate closely with colleagues, clients, and partners across the globe and regularly visit shipyards for installations and testing.

What you bring on board

• A completed degree in IT, network engineering, or a related technical field is a plus;
• Strong technical knowledge of IT systems, networks, and AV/IT integrations;
• Experience with Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft 365 services and Exchange Server (preferably MCSA/MCSE certified);
• Knowledge of complex network infrastructures (Cisco certification preferred);
• The ability to operate independently in a complex environment while also being an excellent team player;
• Excited to combine travelling the world with work – this will be a big part of your role;

• Excellent communication skills, including fluency in English (spoken and written);
