Keoni is seeking an IT project auditor to provide independent governance and controls reviews for high-stakes IT projects in France. You will assess scope, budgets, risks, and compliance throughout the lifecycle, delivering actionable recommendations and ensuring transparent governance.

The role requires at least five years in IT project auditing, familiarity with PMBOK, PRINCE2, Scrum, and SAFe, and strong communication with stakeholders. Fluency in French is essential; English is a plus.

Qualifications

• At least five years of IT project auditing experience.
• Led assignments covering scoping to deployment or closure.
• Understanding of business, regulatory, and organizational challenges in digital transformations.
• Project management or Agile certification is a plus (PMP/PMI-RMP/PRINCE2 Practitioner/PSM I/SAFe Agilist).
• Fluency in French; English skills a plus in international contexts.

Context: In an environment where practices, technologies, and risk management requirements are rapidly evolving, we are seeking an IT project auditor capable of supporting the security of high-stakes projects. You will provide an independent perspective on their governance, organization, compliance, and operational control. Through your analyses and recommendations, you will directly contribute to meeting objectives, budgets, deadlines, quality standards, and security requirements.Your role – Anticipate evolving user needs and technologies, then measure their impact on systems, budgets, and skills. – Evaluate the robustness of the organization, processes, and IT project management practices. – Identify risks that could affect quality, security, costs, deadlines, or the achievement of objectives. – Propose improvement measures that promote industrialization, overall quality, and resource optimization. – Contribute to meeting commitments and ensuring transparent governance. – Foster the sharing of knowledge, methods, and best practices.Your main responsibilities : Conducting IT project audits. You will be involved at various stages of the project lifecycle: scoping or launch, securing an ongoing project, milestone review, preparation for production deployment, or project closure. You will adapt your approach to the maturity level, challenges, and risks of each project. • Examine strategic and operational governance, roles, responsibilities, and decision-making processes. • Evaluate the management of scope, schedule, budget, resources, dependencies, and risks. • Analyze project processes and activities: project management, design, development, testing, change management, deployment, and action tracking. • Verify the quality and traceability of deliverables: project plans, design documents, risk analyses, test cases and reports, procedures, user documentation, and closure documents. • Assess the consideration given to security, data protection, business continuity, compliance, and operability. • Verify the suitability of the methods, tools, skills and resources mobilized in relation to the objectives of the project.Prepare and conduct audit work • Conduct a preliminary assessment and define the scope, objectives, criteria, and approach of the audit. • Collect and analyze relevant documentation, then identify the stakeholders to be consulted. • Develop methodological tools: work program, risk matrix, interview guides, test sheets, intervention plan, and communication schedule. • Conduct interviews, investigations, substance tests, and document or on-site verifications. • Document findings, assess risks, and investigate root causes based on evidence. • Formulate prioritized, realistic, measurable recommendations with assigned responsibilities and deadlines. • Lead kick-off, working, debriefing, and follow-up meetings with the relevant entities and departments.Report your findings and follow up on recommendations • Draft scoping notes and work programs. • Develop risk and control matrices. • Prepare materials and formalize meeting minutes. • Produce observation reports with prioritized recommendations. • Draft provisional and final reports, as well as summaries for decision-makers. • Formalize action plans and, depending on the assigned scope, monitor the implementation of recommendations.The skills we are looking for: Your technical and methodological skills • Mastery of audit methods applied to the IT project lifecycle: scoping, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and closure. • Mastery of predictive, agile, and hybrid project management approaches, including PMBOK, PRINCE2, Scrum, and SAFe. • Ability to assess project governance, roles and responsibilities, bodies, decision-making processes, and stakeholder involvement. • Ability to audit the project scoping, scope, planning, budget, resources, dependencies, risks, quality, and changes. • Ability to assess the consistency of functional and technical choices with the project's objectives, requirements, constraints, and acceptance criteria, without replacing technical experts. • Mastery of project deliverable review: scoping document, requirements specification, design documents, backlog, schedule, risk register, testing strategy, test reports, deployment documentation, and closure report. • Ability to maintain traceability of requirements, decisions, anomalies, actions, and validations throughout the project. • Proficiency in interviewing, sampling, testing, document analysis, evidence review, and findings documentation techniques. • Ability to analyze key performance indicators, cost and schedule variances, resource consumption, progress, deliverable quality, and risk exposure. • Strong command of office and collaborative tools, as well as planning, backlog management, risk tracking, anomaly tracking, and action plan tools. • Excellent writing skills to produce well-supported findings, operational recommendations, and summary reports for project governance bodies.Preferred IT Project Management and Auditing Frameworks : • PMBOK — scoping, planning, managing, and controlling the costs, schedules, quality, resources, and risks of an IT project. Recommended certification: Project Management Professional (PMP); PMI-RMP is an asset for project risk analysis. • PRINCE2 — governance, organization, continuous justification, and phased management of IT projects. Recommended certification: PRINCE2 Foundation; PRINCE2 Practitioner is preferred for an experienced profile. • Scrum — evaluation of the organization, roles, events, artifacts, and management of agile IT projects. Recommended certification: Professional Scrum Master I (PSM I) or equivalent recognized certification; an advanced level is appreciated. • SAFe — evaluation of managing agile IT programs and projects at scale.
