Job summary

Betclic Group in Bordeaux is offering a six-month paid internship as a User Research Assistant. You will join a research team working to design the best possible user experience across sports betting, poker, and casino products.

From day one you’ll contribute to interviews, surveys and data analysis, learn to present findings to stakeholders, and explore how AI can support UX research. The program welcomes applicants with disabilities and offers a hybrid work model.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing higher education in UX Research, Ergonomics, Research Psychology or a related field including UX research modules.
• Passion for sports and/or mobile apps.
• Organized, rigorous, proactive, and a team player.

ENTER THE GAME

As a User Research Assistant, you will be part of a research team of 7 people, passionate professionals whose role is to design the best possible user experience by deeply understanding user behavior, motivations and needs.

You will work on various topics such as sports betting, horse racing, poker, and casino games.

YOUR ROLE WITHIN BETCLIC

In this role, your main missions will be:

• Apply user research methodologies (interviews, focus groups, surveys, etc.) to analyze user needs.
• Contribute to the analysis of both qualitative and quantitative data.
• Learn how to present user research findings to stakeholders.
• Discover how to use AI within user research.

We are looking for passionate and curious professionals who bring kindness and a touch of enthusiasm!

This opportunity is for you if:

You are currently pursuing higher education in UX Research, Ergonomics, Research Psychology or a related field including UX research modules.
You are passionate about sports and/or mobile apps
You are organized, rigorous, and proactive
You have strong communication skills and enjoy working in a team
English is not something that scares you.

WHAT ARE THE RECRUITMENT STEPS?

If your application is shortlisted, Benoît will contact you within a week for an initial HR screening (20 minutes). Then, you will complete the AssessFirst test (personality, motivation and cognitive reasoning).

You will then meet Christophe and Manon, who will be your future mentors.

Finally, Benoît will conduct a final HR interview to review your AssessFirst results together.

The recruitment process usually takes around 4 weeks to ensure an optimal experience for you.
