Betclic Group seeks a Business Development Analyst intern for a 6-month program in Bordeaux. You will join a dynamic, international team and contribute to market analyses, trend monitoring, and strategic projects from day one.

ENTER THE GAME

As a Business Development Analyst intern, you will report to the Business Development Manager. The Business Development team is responsible for identifying, assessing and executing business development opportunities to contribute to Betclic Group’s growth and profitability objectives.

As part of the team, you will support market analyses, monitor industry trends, contribute to strategic projects and prepare recommendations for decision-making.

You will be involved in preliminary assessments of potential new country launches, M&A and strategic partnership opportunities, as well as various strategic and business-related projects.

YOUR ROLE WITHIN BETCLIC

In this role, your main missions will be:

• Contribute to the monitoring of Betclic's key markets of interest through the collection, analysis and interpretation of information from regulators, listed companies, market studies and internal tools, including:
  • Key market trends and dynamics
  • Regulatory developments
  • Revenue trends by product
  • Operator performance and market share estimates
• Support preliminary analyses ahead of potential new country launches, including:
  • Institutional, regulatory and tax framework
  • Local cultural, economic, telecoms, payments and digital environments
  • Market sizing and business case preparation
  • Competitive benchmarking of main competitors products, websites, apps, promotions and marketing campaigns across all media channels (social media, TV, radio etc.)
• Contribute to business development projects by:
  • Conducting thematic and strategic analyses
  • Contributing to analyses related to potential M&A opportunities

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

This internship is for you if:

• You are currently studying at a leading business school, engineering school or IEP
• You have strong analytical and synthesis skills, are rigorous and pay close attention to detail
• You are able to structure information and communicate clear conclusions
• You have excellent written and verbal communication skills
• You are comfortable working independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment
• You are proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
• And finally, you speak English fluently

WHAT ARE THE RECRUITMENT STEPS?

If your application is shortlisted, Elliot will contact you within a week for an initial HR screening (30 minutes). Then, you will complete the AssessFirst test (personality, motivation and cognitive reasoning).

About two weeks later, you will take part in a live case study exercise with your future manager, Clément Becquet.

Next, you will meet Humbert Michaud, Head of Business Development. Finally, Elliot will conduct a final HR interview to review your AssessFirst results together.

The recruitment process usually takes between 4 to 6 weeks to ensure an optimal experience for you.
