The International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) invites applications for a Sponsorship intern to collaborate across departments with the Global Partner Development Coordinator and the Global Partnerships Development Adviser in Paris. You will explore and commercialise ICC content, events, products, services and business networks.

This six-month full-time internship is based at ICC Global Headquarters in Paris, offering partial work-from-home opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must be a student during the internship.
• Excellent written and oral communication in English.
• Knowledge of MS Office; web marketing familiarity is a plus.

The role

ICC is recruiting a Sponsorship intern to work across several departments with the Global Partner Development Coordinator and the Global Partnerships Development Adviser to explore and commercialise ICC content, events, products, services and business networks.

Your responsibilities and learning opportunities include:

• Client follow up
• Customer relations
• Administrative support (client registration, invoicing follow-up)
• Onsite event logistical support & creation of marketing materials for events
• Assistance in drafting pitches for email marketing campaigns
• Website updates

Requirements

• Exceptional presentation, written and oral communication skills in English
• Proven skills in writing, client relations, communications, and project management
• Ability to manage simultaneous projects in a fast-paced working international environment with challenging deadlines
• Organised, detail-oriented, and ready to take initiative
• Works well independently
• Pro-active team player
• Customer service oriented
• Sales or marketing experience is a plus
• The candidate must speak, read, and write English fluently. Knowledge of other languages would be an asset, particularly French and Spanish.
• They are expected to have a good knowledge of all Microsoft Office programs and be a proficient user of internet tools with a good understanding of web marketing.
• Master's degree or B.A. in marketing preferred.

Terms and conditions

Important information before applying:

• You must still be registered as a student during the time of the internship.
• Nationals from outside the European Union or Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Andorra, Monaco, or Switzerland must hold an appropriate visa from the French consulate.
• Non-EU residents are required to have valid papers before applying (long-stay student visa and/or carte de séjour) allowing them to work in France.
• Interns are required to handle their own travel and accommodation arrangements for the duration of their internship. ICC does not provide scholarships or fellowships.
• Based at ICC Global Headquarters in Paris our six-month internship programme is full-time with an average working week of 35 hours.
