Dormont Manufacturing Co is seeking a Resource Registered Nurse for Zone 10 of Wake’s Resource Team, floating to Baptist, Wilkes, Hugh Chatham and Alleghany facilities. This full-time role includes a 36‑hour work week and requires BLS and RN licensure with the ability to work across multiple sites.

The RN will engage in governance and quality initiatives, use the nursing process to deliver patient-centered care, and maintain accurate EHR documentation while upholding safety and ethical standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license with privileges to practice in the state(s) where the RN provides client nursing services.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsabilités

• Engages in unit councils, governance, and quality initiatives to improve care and apply evidence-based practices.
• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate nursing care with patients and families.
• Monitors patient conditions, adjusts care plans, and collaborates with the care team to influence outcomes.
• Upholds and promotes a culture of safety.
• May administer medications, treatments, and therapies per clinical protocols.
• Maintains accurate, timely EHR documentation.
• May float to other units as needed within the service area.
• Provide age-appropriate care across patient life spans.
