Advocate Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for our Wake: Med Surg Resource Team. The role requires floating to multiple facilities within the service area and delivering high-quality patient care. The position emphasizes evidence-based practice, safety, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.

The ideal candidate will have 1 year of clinical nursing experience, BLS certification, and an RN license with multi-state or single-state privileges. BSN is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license with privileges in the state(s) of practice.
• BLS certification; additional certifications may be required by specialty.

Responsabilités

• Engages in unit councils, governance, and quality initiatives to improve care and apply evidence-based practices.
• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate care, engaging patients and families.
• Monitors patient conditions, adjusts care plans, mobilizes resources, and collaborates with the care team to influence outcomes.
• Upholds and promotes a culture of safety.
• Continuously evaluates patient, team, and unit outcomes and takes action as needed.
• May administer medications, treatments, and therapies per clinical protocols.
• Demonstrates effective communication, feedback, and conflict resolution within the team.
• Pursues professional development and maintains required certifications.
