Job summary

Airbus Helicopters in Marignane, France is seeking an Innovation Work Package Manager to lead complex mechanical studies across helicopter subsystems. You will manage ground tests, analyze experimental data, calibrate models, and prepare flight-ready technical documentation while coordinating supplier and university partnerships.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years as an engineer on complex products.
• At least 4 years in development in the aerospace industry, especially at low TRL levels (up to TRL6).
• Proven experience as a project leader / Work Package Manager.
• Engineering and/or Science Master’s degree.
• Thermal, aerodynamics, or engine expertise.
• Technical English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Manage and/or directly supervise complex mechanical studies on helicopter subsystems across the full scope.
• Lead Ground Test campaigns on benches at Airbus site or partner/university locations.
• Analyze experimental data from dynamic system results and calibrate simulation models with engineering teams.
• Build and manage technical documentation for flight‑worthy technologies and permit to fly files.
• Manage supplier and partner relationships as a Work Package Manager and coordinate internal functions.
