Job summary

Airbus Helicopters SAS in Marignane seeks an Innovation product manager to join the Research & Innovation department. You will oversee development of key technologies for flying demonstrators, manage complex airframe studies, and pilot prototype industrial means with suppliers.

The role demands 15+ years in aeronautics, leadership of design offices, mastery of Catia V5 and PLM tools, and strong technical English.

Qualifications

Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent highly experienced technician profile.
Expertise in Catia V5 (Standard modules, Sheet metal, Surface, GPS Stress Analysis, Drawings) and PLM tools.
Aeronautical/automotive design rules, safety and airworthiness awareness.
Minimum 15 years designing complex aerospace products and leading design teams.

Responsibilities

Manage and execute complex airframe studies across helicopter subsystems.
Design tooling and processes for industrialization of complex subsystems.
Act as Technical Referent for mechanical/structural studies and mentor novice designers.
Pilot and design prototype industrial means with suppliers to demonstrate viability.
Provide technical follow-up of manufacturing for demonstrators from PO to delivery.
Coordinate Production, Quality, and Logistics to deliver new subsystems up to TRL6.
