Job summary

Airbus Helicopters SAS is seeking an Innovation Work Package Manager to join the Research & Innovation team in Marignane, France. You will lead complex mechanical studies, manage test campaigns, and drive POC development toward flight clearance while coordinating suppliers and internal teams.

The role requires a Master’s in engineering, 5+ years in complex aerospace products, and strong English proficiency. Frequent travel to suppliers may be expected; a dynamic, high-tech environment awaits.

Qualifications

• 5 years minimum as an engineer on complex products
• 4 years minimum in aerospace development, up to TRL6
• Proven experience as a project leader / Work Package Manager
• Engineering Master’s degree (Bachelor+5)
• Proficiency in Catia V5 (standard module) and VPM-type PLM tools
• Technical English proficiency

Responsibilities

• Manage and/or directly run complex mechanical studies across helicopter subsystems
• Coordinate Ground Test campaigns at Airbus sites or partner/university locations
• Analyse experimental data and calibrate simulation/thermodynamic models with engineering teams
• Create technical documentation for flight qualification and safety analyses
• Manage supplier and partner relationships and synchronize internal functions
