Job summary

Emory University is seeking an experienced microscopy professional to manage an assigned imaging site within the Integrated Cellular Imaging Core. The role supports investigators across Emory through operation, maintenance, user training, and assisted imaging on advanced light‑microscopy platforms.

Responsibilities include experimental design, data analysis, protocol development, and coordinating trainings and service with vendors. In-person work is required at an Emory location.

Qualifications

• PhD or masters with relevant lab experience.
• Bachelor’s degree with four years of professional lab experience.
• Laboratory experience should relate to the area of assignment.

Responsibilities

• Design experiments and interpret results from basic and translational research.
• Review literature and apply advanced knowledge for protocol development.
• Assist in grant and other funding applications as appropriate.
• With approval, may serve as principal investigator on funded proposals.
• Perform other responsibilities as required.
