Job summary

Back Market in Paris is seeking a data scientist to design, build, and scale AI-driven pricing solutions for our marketplace. You’ll join the Pricing & Quality team focused on curating offers to give customers the best value for money.

You’ll own projects end to end, design and analyze experiments, and collaborate with data scientists and engineers to productionize models. Strong Python and SQL skills and a Masters or PhD in a quantitative field are required, with pricing or revenue-management

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a data scientist.
• Proficient in Python and SQL.
• Strong grasp of ML and statistical concepts and production readiness.
• Experience in pricing, revenue management, or B2C marketplaces is a strong plus.
• Excellent communication with senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and scale AI-driven pricing solutions for the marketplace.
• Own projects end to end from problem to results.
• Collaborate with data scientists and backend engineers to productionize models.
• Design and analyze experiments to measure impact of pricing strategies.
• Communicate insights to engineering, product, and business stakeholders.
